Dear Colleagues,
The 17th IEEE International Pulsed Power Conference (PPC2009) will be held June 28 – July 2, 2009 in Washington DC.
The Pulsed Power Conference is held on a biannual basis and serves as the principal forum for the exchange of information on pulsed power technology and engineering. The conference historically has a significant international participation, with more than 30 countries represented in 2007. The Conference Proceedings also serve as the major archival source of papers published in this field. PPC2009 is sponsored by the Pulsed Power Science and Technology Committee of the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society.
The venue for PPC2009 is the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, a historic location in the heart of Washington DC. As the U.S. national capital, DC is a vibrant city filled with opportunities to explore grand government buildings, monuments, memorials, museums, art, theatre, music, culture, nightlife, and more. There is literally something for everybody to experience, attendees and companions alike.
We are working hard to make PPC2009 a memorable event, both technically and socially. Information will be added to this website on a continuing basis as it becomes available. In addition, we will send email reminders as important deadlines approach.
On behalf of the conference committee I invite you to attend PPC2009. We look forward to seeing you!
