Welcome to PPC 2011
The 18th International Pulsed Power Conference will be held in Chicago, Illinois from June 19 to June 23, 2011.
The Pulsed Power Conference is held bi-annually and serves as the principal forum of information exchange on pulsed power technology and engineering. In past years, the conference had significant international participation. More than 25 countries were represented at the 2009 conference. The 2011 Pulsed Power Conference is sponsored by the IEEE NPSS.
This year’s conference will be held in the midwest for the first time in the history of the conference. This year’s venue is the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place. The conference is also co-locating
with the International Conference on Plasma Science (ICOPS)
and the Symposium on Fusion Engineering (SOFE).
We are pleased to sponsor the conference in Chicago in 2011. Chicago offers a venue rich in cultural and architectural diversity. The home of Frank Lloyd Wright, Chicago today is one of the architectural oasis of the midwest. Chicago also hosts art, science, and history museums. The night life is also exceptional with Chicago offering the finest restaurants and theatre in the midwest.
The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place is located minutes from these attractions and is centrally located to the museums and sports arena. The downtown is accessible by shuttle, train, taxi, or bus. We believe that this conference will be a memorable experience.
We welcome your attendance and look forward to your participation at the 2011 IEEE Pulsed Power Conference in Chicago.
